I'm 1/4 of the way through my #100daydresschallenge. I've worn the same dress (and, yes, I've washed it. . . geesh!) every day for 25 days running. As I mentioned in the first post about this, I wanted to try this challenge to cut back on the angst of deciding what to wear in the morning. I also, desperately, want the "reward" gift card that comes from #wooland for completing the challenge.

So far, it's been a very interesting and enlightening experience for me. This is what I've learned:

  1. I am NOT one of those uber-creative accessorizers of my daily outfit.

  2. Even though black seemed like a no-brainer choice, I like color so much I'm beginning to think I should have chosen a different dress.

  3. It really IS nice to know what your base piece of clothing is going to be every day.

  4. My students have not noticed that I'm wearing the same dress every day. At least, I assume they haven't. No one has said anything. Usually HS students are very generous with their observations and opinions.

  5. My school lanyard is a menace. It has pilled the front of my dress. . . which I should have thought of sooner as it has pilled a bunch of my shirts as well. I've even tried different lanyards. . . all to no avail. I think I'm going to just have to use a clip and put my lanyard on my waistband.

I'm very interested to see what the next 25 days bring. My curling league begins tomorrow. Maybe I should try curling in my dress? I mean. . . . what could go wrong. . . . . . .
